Iconic star Amitabh Bachchan is currently working on Ribhu Dasgupta`s directorial 'Te3N' in the City of Joy- Kolkata. He was snapped with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who was riding pillion in the streets of Kolkata. Amitabh was dressed in one pair of jacket and pants and was searching for jobs,' which he later wrote in his blog.
Amitabh wrote in his blog saying, the feeling of doing the shoot made him very nostalgic because he lived and worked in Kolkata in the Sixties before he became an actor. Amitabh and Nawazuddin rode through past Maidan and the Race Course, down Park Street and Red Road, and through Ballygunge. They also travelled by tram from Tollygunje to Esplanade. They were also hanging out of the doors of busses and trams for lack of space but somehow enjoyed the experience. They final destination was the beautiful Victoria Memorial, where they gorged on the roadside snack puchka`.
Amitabh had high praise for the people of the city and said, "Such universal presence in opinion is rare and exemplary and so are the Kolkatans. Rare, passionate, wise and filled with the senses of all that is of value and tradition."
On Sunday, he posted these pictures of himself kick-starting a scooter, in one of the pictures hours of shooting seemed to have left Amitabh 'sleep deprived'.
Amitabh was last seen in the city during the shooting of the movie 'Piku', regards Nawazuddin also filmed in the city, for his breakout role in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Kahaani'.
