After Pawan, Shankar goes in for a Chiru reference

After delivering a ridiculously unmemorable performance in his first film (which film was it?) as a hero, Shakalaka Shankar is back with an entertainer titled 'Khaidi'. Its shooting will start during Dasara. Its RR works are going on.
Produced by Srinivasa Rao Golusu and presented by G Varalakshmi of Sri Bhavani Films, this powerfully-titled film ('Khaidi' invariably reminds us of Megastar Chiranjeevi in the context of films) will be replete with comedy, action and sentiment. "It's 'Khaidi' which turned the career of Chiranjeevi garu for good. We don't want to bring any bad name to such a great movie," the comedian-turned-hero says.
The film will hopefully not see Shankar trying to imitate Chiranjeevi.
