Premam, the blockbuster Malayalam film, has come in for praise from no less a master craftsman than Shankar. His laudatory comments on the film come days after Akkineni Nagarjuna praised the film.
"Saw Premam today Lively.. realistic entertainment. Takes you to your teens n tees beautifully. Cheers to Alphonse n d whole team," the ace director tweeted.
The Nivin Pauly-Sai Pallavi starrer, directed by Alphonse Puthiran, is being remade into Telugu with Naga Chaitanya as the main lead. The original's title has been retained. Chandu Mondeti is wielding the megaphone.
Recently, Nag hailed the performance of Nivin Pauly as "fabulous." Some changes have been made to suit the Telugu nativity and Chai's image. This is one of the most awaited romantic films in a long time, besides Gowtham Vasudev Menon's Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo.
