After models, its VJs turn to rule Bollywood

Till about a few years ago, there used to be a lot of noise around models entering Bollywood. Not many were sure if the faces that could launch a thousand products and walk the ramp to publicize designer products could actually emote on screen also. Till Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and many more made it big......!

But now it's not just models but even music channel VJs who have slowly but steadily made their presence felt on the big screen. Most notable amongst these VJs is Ranveer Shourey who has finally started getting meaty roles after a brief appearance opposite Manisha Koirala in 'Ek Chotisi Love Story'. With applause galore in 'Mixed Doubles' followed by 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' which could as well be the turning point of his career, he seems to have certainly arrived as new age urban character.

On the other hand PKSE also featured Sophie Chaudhary in a major role after one saw her briefly in 'Shaadi No. 1' last year. This is not all as the other VJ trying to make his presence felt is Purab Kohli. So far seen in meaningful parts for films like 'Supari', 'Bas Yun Hi' and 'My Brother Nikhil', he would soon be sharing screen space with Shiney Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut in 'Woh Lamhe'.

Its time for VJs to pop the proceedings!
