After Sekhar Kammula-directed 'Love Story', yet another noted April release has been postponed in the wake of the second wave. 'Thalaivi', which stars Kangana Ranaut as J Jayalalithaa, has withdrawn from the April race. It will not be hitting the screens on April 23.
The makers on Friday evening said that they intend to release the biopic in all languages (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, among others) on the same date. Keeping in mind the alarming rise in COVID-19 cases and the subsequent restrictions imposed on occupancy limits (Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka already have a 50% limit), the AL Vijay-starrer has been postponed indefinitely.
The makers said that they hope their film will receive the love of the audience whenever it releases. They thanked the audience for making the film's trailer a big hit.
'Love Story', starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, has been postponed from April 16. The makers want to attract the family audience to theatres. In the present scenario, families are not showing much enthusiasm.
