Lyricist Snehan became a household name after contesting the 'Bigg Boss' inaugural show hosted by Kamal Haasan and becoming the runner-up. He later entered politics and joined the Makkal Needhi Maiam and contested the recent Tamil Nadu general elections and lost.

On July 29th Snehan got married to actress Kannika Ravi in the presence of Kamal Haasan and Bharathiraja. The happy bride later posted on social media that her first love in life is Snehan seven years back and is now her husband. Her better half returned the message writing that it is a boon to get a lover as wife and wife as a lover which he has got now.

Snehan today shared a photo with his wife on a flight and shared that the very next day after his wedding he was called on to act in a role in the new movie 'Anandham Vilayadum Veedu' directed by Nandha Periyasamy and starring Gautham Karthik.

The reason for the flight to Tuticorin is to act in another untitled big project starring Arun Vijay and directed by Hari. Snehan has gushed that his marriage to Kannika is a true turning point in his life.
