Is it because Malayalam actresses are especially talented that our sensible directors are increasingly preferring them? In her interview to IndiaGlitz, Nandini Reddy said that Malayalam actresses, in generally, act really well. While it was Nithya Menon in Ala Modalaindi, it was Malavika Nair in Kalyana Vaibhogame.

Much like Nandini, Kranti Madhav too seems to be thinking on similar lines. If he cast Kalyani in his debut film Onamalu, it was Nithya Menon in Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju. For his third film, which has Sunil playing the male lead, he has cast a Malayalam heroine, yet again. It's Miya George.

Looks like Mollywood actresses are going to be the next big thing in Tollywood, especially in roles that are performance-oriented.
