Days after Rajinikanth left for Malaysia to shoot for the magnum opus Kabali, Suriya will leave for the same country to shoot for S3, the sequel to Singham.

The schedule will begin from Feb 5 and will go on for about 20 days. The previous schedule was filmed in Vizag. Suriya, Shruthi Haasan. Soori Krish, Chams and Imaan Annachi took part in this Vizag schedule.

On Jan 31, the S3 unit reached Karaikudi, the favorite shooting location of director Hari. The second schedule of shooting began in Karaikudi today.

Anushka who will be playing Suriya's love interest in the film is expected to join the unit during this schedule. Shruti Hassan, who was not part of the first two parts, is playing a CBI officer.

Radharavi, Sumithra and Nassar are from the first two parts are likely to be present in this sequel as well. Robo Shankar, Chaams and singer Krish playing cops. Music is by Harris Jayaraj, who replaces Devi Sri Prasad, is touted to be a major highlight.
