As Vineeth Sreenivasan's new movie 'Aby' is nearing its release date (February 23rd), the team is all busy promoting the movie by adapting unique promotional strategies. As the movie is about an autistic boy who dreams of flying an aeroplane made by himself, popular airline AirAsia have announced that they are the official airline partner of the movie.

"We're proud to be the official airline partner of ABY - Malayalam movie, the story about a young man with a big dream - a dream to fly...AirAsia supports everyone's dream to fly! [sic]," reads the Facebook post of AirAsia. Reportedly, AirAsia will have special "Aby offers" and will begin the campaign with "Fly Like Aby" by offering free foreign trips to viewers of Vineeth's movie.

Details of the campaign will be updated on the airline's official Facebook page soon. Interestingly, Aby is the first Malayalam movie to adopt this unique promotional technique. It is to be noted that earlier Air Asia, upon the release of Rajinikanth's big-budget entertainer, Kabali, had arranged special flights designed with the movie posters flying from Bengaluru to Chennai for fans to watch the first-day-first-show of the movie.

Apart from this, the marketing team of Aby has also set up a 3D hoarding near Vytilla in Ernakulam that has become the talk of the town. With back-to-back creative promotional strategies, this Srikant Murali-directorial has garnered huge hype among audiences.
