Naga Babu is known for making frank statements. He has spoken out against the likes of Nandamuri Balakrishna, no less. The Mega Brother has his own style when it comes to making provocative or hard-hitting comments.
The other day, the actor had something unenviable to say about Chetan Bhagat, the well-known English-language novel writer. "I recently read his novel 'Two States' and wondered why he is so popular. He is not even ten percent of what our own Yandamuri Veerendranath garu has achieved in the literary space," Naga Babu said.
Actually, the Mega Brother made the comments not to belittle Chetan Bhagat but to glorify Yandamuri, whom he has known for decades. The remarks are interesting because Yandamuri was attacked by Naga Babu at the pre-release event of 'Khaidi No. 150' in 2017. Slamming the novelist, Naga Babu said, "There is one idiot who lacks commonsense. Just to project someone, he recently belittled Ram Charan. I want to tell that 'moorkhudu' that we don't care about such detractors." Yandamuri had said at an event that Ram Charan has not excelled as much as Devi Sri Prasad, a star kid like the 'RRR' actor. Looks like, since then both Yandamuri and Naga Babu have buried the hatchet for good.
