Krish Jagarlamudi is unfazed by the unexpected controversy over 'Manikarnika'. Kangana Ranaut and her sister, Rangoli, have dragged him in a row three days after the biopic's release last week. They accused him of doing a shoddy job with direction. The Tollywood director had to say in public that his filmmaking abilities can't be doubted by "manipulators and liars".
Putting behind the bad experience, the director has moved on from 'Manikarnika' to 'Mahanayakudu'. Some reports say that the second edition of the 'NTR' biopic is currently being shot in Hyderabad's LB Stadium. It seems some portions have been reshot with Nandamuri Balakrishna in tandem.
The first edition, 'Kathanayakudu', was a disaster. The distributors lost huge amounts. It was a worse flop than even Ram Charan's 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama'.
As for 'Mahanayakudu', it was to release in early February. There is no word from the makers about the release date as of now.
