Well, with just Kamal Haasan around, you expect a terrific ensemble cast on board. For this film, you have another high-brow filmmaker joining him (it's TK Rajeev Kumar). So, you can only expect a passionate pushing of the envelope in terms of the casting. Already, by choosing Brahmanandam to play Kamal's sidekick, the makers have delivered a dekko. Brahmi's fans are eagerly waiting to watch him do comedy with Kamal in tandem. You can't ask for anything more.

The latest news is that Sabhash Naidu has a Hollywood actor in its cast. It's American–Indian actor Manu Narayan. He has been signed as Shruti`s pair in the film. Manu has played pivotal roles in films like Love Guru`, Wall Street – Money Never Sleeps` and the lead role in the Broadway musical Bombay Dreams` by A.R.Rahman and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The film is set to begin in the US from the 16th of this month. The Ulaganayagan brings back his popular Balram Naidu character with Brahmanandam as his sidekick.

Sabhash Naidu also has Ramya Krishnan as Kamal`s wife and Shruti Haasan as his daughter.
