Oviya is just out of Bigg Boss house. The most popular contestant of the reality show, made a voluntary exit last week due to health reasons. Now the actress who has gained a phenomenally huge popularity and affection of the people of Tamil Nadu will get back to film shooting.

Now it has been revealed that Oviya will be acting in an extended cameo role in the Vishnu Vishal-Regina Cassandra starrer 'Silukkuvarupatti Singam'. This film is being Vishnu Vishal under his home banner and it is being directed by Chella Ayyavu who wrote the dialogues for last year's super hit film 'Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaran'.

It should not be mistaken that Oviya has been cast in this film owing to her popularity due to Bigg Boss. She signed this film much before she got the Bigg Boss offer. In fact she got the offer to contest in Bigg Boss show only in the sets of 'Silukkuvarpatti Singam'.

However this will be Oviya's first release after 'Bigg Boss' and it will also be a comeback of sorts for the 'Kalavani' actress who has not acted in films for the past one and a half years.
