After Asha, it's Usha

After almost a decade, Asha Bhonsle, the popular singer from Mumbai, rendered a song in Rajinikanth starrer Chandramukhi.
Now pop singer Usha Uthup, who had sung a couple of numbers in Thava Pudhalvan and Anjali, is rendering her voice for a song in the movie June R.
The movie stars Jyothika,Saritha and Kushboo and is directed by Revathy S Verma. Sarath scores music.
Usha, incidentally is from Chennai itself. Though she moved to Mumbai several years ago, she still calls herself 'Mylapore Mami'.
Usha Uthup, it may be recalled, with her heavy voice and unique diction, popularized the item songs.
