After making a zabardast impression with his action movies ‘Wanted’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ace choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva is gearing up to give a light-hearted movie next.

The news was already in town that producer Kumar Taurani's son Girish Kumar will be launched with Prabhu Deva’s movie. Latest development is that the musical romance, which has Shruti Haasan playing the female lead, has been titled as ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’.

Apparently the film has been thus named because in the film Girish’s character is called Ram, and ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ means ‘Ram Will You Come?’. Besides Prabhu Deva had this title in his mind for a long time and since everything fell into place this title seems to be apt finally.

According to sources, the film has completed nearly sixty percent of its shooting and remaining will take place in January in locales of Mumbai and Australia or South Africa.

While we have tasted and immensely enjoyed the super action films of Prabhu Deva, the director in an interview revealed that actually in real life he is very romantic person and so he was keen to give a love story next.

Bannered under Tips and produced by Kumar Taurani, ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ is expected to release on 7th June 2013.

Meanwhile Prabhu Dev is waiting excitedly for the release of his 3D dance movie ‘Any Body Can Dance (ABCD)’, directed by Remo D’Souza, that hits the screens in Feb 2013.
