Speaking at the audio launch of 'SPYder' in Chennai on Saturday, AR Murugadoss was in praise of Mahesh Babu's dedication.
"I had wanted to work with him ever since I watched 'Okkadu' in a Vijayawada theatre. My idea was to remake 'Ghajini' with him. But it got dubbed. Then I wanted to do 'Thuppakki' with him. But the contract said that it would be dubbed in Telugu. This time, I didn't want to miss it. Although it's a bi-lingual, Mahesh Babu never complained about having to give repeated takes whenever his co-actors did something wrong," ARM said.
"We worked on the night effect shoots for 80 nights. Mahesh's cooperation was immense. He would ask if he needs to shoot for any more scenes. No actor would say that, especially after going through so much of stress on a bi-lingual. Aamir Khan had said this to me after 'Ghajini' shoot was over," ARM said.
