Superstar Rajnikanth who has completed his 167th movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss is next set to begin shooting for his 168th movie which will be directed by Siva whose Viswasam was liked by the actor very much and this movie is produced by Sun Pictures.

The latest official update from the team of Thalaivar 168 is that this movie will have 90s top heroine Meena joining the cast. It must be noted that the actress has acted with the superstar as a child artist in Anbulla Rajnikanth, and as pair in movies like Ejaman, Veera and Muthu.

Though she was last seen along with Superstar in Kuselan, she was last paired with him in Muthu which was released 24 years before. Thalaivar 168 also stars Keerthy Suresh, Prakashraj and Soori and will have music by D Imman. Shooting of this movie is set to begin this month.
