Albeit a handful of films under his name, the limelight of Bollywood has failed to shine for Aftab Shivdasani. A cute face, good physique and good acting skills are sometimes not enough. To create a niche for oneself, there is something more required.

Aftab has decided to create opportunities for himself by donning the role of a producer. The film will not only see him becoming a producer but also will see him pen the script. He has named his production firm as ‘Rising Son Entertainment’ and his first film will go on floors around mid-2008.

It is reported that Aftab came across his new talent for writing while he used to be on the sets acting in other films. Though the director of the film has been fixed, nothing has come out so far in black and white, reports suggest.

It is said that Aftab’s script will be a romantic story, and the hero turned producer is on the look out for a fresh face to act opposite him in this flick.

Sources say, Aftab will get to act in the roles that have so far not come his way through his own production company.
