Aftab: Main Hoon Superstar

‘Jaane Hoga Kya’ is a science fiction thrill flick that has been in the making for ages. Starring Aftab Shivdasani, Bipasha Basu, Preeti Jhangiani and Rahul Dev, JHK is the story of a young scientist who is about to perform the first human cloning. Well, the subject in itself is cheesy and there’s little hope for this film that has been under production for the last few years.

At a press meet in a suburban movie theatre, lead stars Aftab and Preeti faced the media while Bipasha was conspicuous by her absence. Obviously with the growth in stature as an actress-n-a-star, Basu doesn’t wish to be associated with this less-than-happening movie.

While Preeti was very accommodating in terms of responding to the media questions about the film as well as her personal life, Aftab beat a hasty retreat, by saying aloud: “I have an important meeting.” Well….Yeah…You are a superstar who hasn’t had a hit in ages.

The director duo Glen-Ankush patiently-n-excitedly replied to any and every query. They promised a thrilling climax and also lauded the action sequences. We hope for their earnestness that ‘Jaane Hoga Kya’ gets to see the light of movie halls. Sometime Soon.
