Aei the Sarath Kumar film has run into problems. V Sekar who used to produce and direct small budget films for the first time decided to produce a film with a Star and engage an outside director.
Aei was his first film with Sarath Kumar- Namitha in the lead and directed by Venkateshan.
The film is now at a deficit of Rs 25 lakhs . The actor who faced an arrest warrant for a cheque bouncing case went underground till the issue was settled. A schedule in Palani got cancelled. Similarly many other hurdles put the production cost up and in the final count after selling areas the producer stands to lose Rs 25 Lakhs.
