Advocate Rajasekhar one of the senior members of the executive committee of Kamal Haasan's Makkal Neethi Maiam quit the party and media speculations arose that he will take many other key members with him.

Rajasekhar however clarified to the media in a video right in front of Kamal that he quit because he could not keep up with the speed of Kamal.  The advocate asserted that Kamal is the most straightforward person he has ever seen and though he had moved on he would like to be the Ulaganayagan's council when he becomes the chief minister.

Kamal in his own inimitable humorous style stated that a situtation should never arise when he needs Rajasekhar as his advocate also citing that he belongs to a family of lawyers.  The duo made it clear to the media that their parting ways was on friendly terms and not as was speculated.
