Sriman is quickly getting an image. But it is something that he cannot be proud off.

The actor, who is trying to graduate from side roles to hero characters, is almost specializing in cheap sex comedies.

His Tamil remake of the raucous Telugu comedy Sorry Naaku Pelli Aindi has run into Censor problems over alleged obscenity.

Starring him, Flora Saini and Swarnamalya, the film was said to contain too many close acts and the Censor is said to have come down heavily on the theme itself.

Meanwhile, Sriman is more or less ready with his Sathi Savithri in Telugu. Not surprisingly this is also a sex comedy.

Sriman is not abashed about making such movies. "If there is a market for it why not make a film", he brazens out. He adds there is good scope for adult-oriented comedy in films.

Sathi Savithri, starring him, Keerthi Chawla and Sadhika, oozes fun and glamour. G. Surender Reddy directs Sati Savithri and is produced by Eluru Surender Reddy on his banner - Dasaksharaya Films.

Sriman says the film has been made under Rs.one crore and the film has already been successfully sold. Even the TV rights have been picked up.

It is difficult speaking against success.
