Adivi Sesh talks about the delay in 'Major' release

The second wave of Covid-19 virus ruined the plans of release for several highly anticipated film. Adivi Sesh starrer 'Major' is one of them. The film was slated for a 2 July theatrical release but the recently the makers announced that the release has been postponed. In an conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Adivi Sesh addressed this issue and a few others.
When asked about his passion project getting postponed, Sesh replied, "The moment theatres are back which is obviously the near future, we want to give people a beautiful experience based on the life of a true hero."
When asked about his views on the future of Indian cinema and OTT platforms, Sesh said, "As someone who saw a robust box office in south India between the two waves, I feel it’s a matter of making our country safe. For the cases to come under control. After all, art touches the heart but people have to be ok first. All this bleak future stuff was written about the American biz too and it’s starting to roar back to life."
He added, "OTT is a great space for people to catch a film after it leaves theatres and also...when narratives designed for it. It’s a very different viewing experience."
