Now, Yami Gautam's latest film, 'Article 370', has hit a roadblock as it is close to getting banned in Gulf countries. The latest of all its big successes, be it in domestic or international markets, and lauded by the public and critics, this one blow will certainly be reflected in the international business of the film. However, the certification board has not given any official explanation to justify the ban.

What remains particularly shocking is the ban in Gulf nations, despite robust tourism and a large number of fans of Indian cinema within that region. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's forthcoming film 'Fighter' also met with a similar fate after it was banned by all other Gulf countries barring the UAE.

In 'Article 370', Yami Gautam is appearing as Zooni Haksar, an intelligence officer, in a narrative set against the backdrop of the valley, with the removal of Article 370 and the special status of Jammu and Kashmir being at the center. Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to the film during his recent address in Jammu and expressed hope for its release while mentioning that it can provide accurate information on the issue. In response, Yami thanked Instagram and expressed her wishes to meet up and beat around the bush for portraying this amazing story.

Aditya Suhas Jambhale directed the film, which also includes Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar.
