Aditya Om, who adopted Cherupally village (near Bhadrachalam) a year ago, is out to digitalize it starting from this month end! "I have established a library, have been supplying sports kits and solar lights to the village. This year, my agenda is to make it a digital village. I am running an NGO by name Edulightment. As a part of social service, I am doing my bit to empower youths with education and skill development. I have teamed up with Anandam Foundation run by producer Vijayvarma Pakalapati," he says.
"As we are increasingly moving toward cashless economy, I wanted to establish an online seva centre in Cherupally. With the co-operation of Venkat Reddy of T-Seva online services, I am going to establish one online centre in the village. I have already handed over the required material (laptops, for eg) to Vijayvarma. This centre will be used for computer-related training programs as well. I have also been supporting sports tournaments that happen during Sankranthi in this village. With the best resources possible, I am trying to do as many activities as possible," Aditya Om adds.
