'Adirindhi', the dubbed version of 'Mersal', is directed by Atlee. With the story by K Vijayendra Prasad, the film stars Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menon as the heroines.

Vijay will be seen in three roles: As a Panchayat head, as a doctor, and as a magician.

Music-directed by AR Rahman, it has the cinematography by GK Vishnu.  SJ Suryah will be seen in a key role after 'SPYder'.  Sathyaraj, the Kattappa of 'Baahubali', has another important role.

The Telugu version is brought out by Sharrath Marar, who has teamed up with Thendral Films.

The film clashes with Ravi Teja's 'Raja The Great' on Oct 18th.
