The jaw-dropping teaser of Prabhas' Adhipurush is out!

Adipurush teaser, starring Prabhas as Lord Ram, received a grand launch Sunday on the bank of Sarayu in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya. The film, which is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, also stars Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles.
The teaser shows Lord Ram who is ready to destroy the empire of evil built by Saif Ali Khan’s Lankesh. The first glimpse of the teaser shows Lord Ram in deep meditation underwater as demons from all directions come swirling in. He aims his arrows to take a few out when we get the first glimpse at Saif's Lankesh with ice-blue eyes, praying at a mountain.
The one-minute video also showed a glimpse of the beautiful Kriti Sanon who is playing Sita in this movie. Adipurush is a multilingual period saga, which is being touted as a film celebrating “the victory of good over evil”. It is an on-screen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Adipurush is also one of the most expensive films made in Indian cinema.
Adipurush is Om Raut’s follow-up project to his 2020 blockbuster movie Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-series, Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. Adipurush will release in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The movie is slated to be released in theatres on January 12, 2023 in IMAX and 3D.
