Adipurush has been postponed to a new date. The Prabhas-starrer won't be hitting the screens on January 12 next year.

The new release date is this: June 16, 2023.

In a statement on Monday, director Om Raut said, “In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. We are committed to make a film that India will be proud of."

He added that the film is a representation of our devotion to Lord Ram and a commitment to our culture and country.

The film, co-starring Kriti Sanon, has Prabhas in the titular role.

After the postponement of this film, the release schedule of 'Salaar' too might get affected.
