Prabhas has found his villain for 'Adipurush'.  Director Om Raut on Thursday revealed that Saif Ali Khan, the Bollywood star, would be playing Lankesh in the 3D epic drama.  The 'Baahubali' actor will be seen as Lord Ram, who vanquishes Raavan.

This one is Saif's second film with director Raut, the first one being 'Tanhaji', in which he played Udaybhan Singh Rathore, Aurangzeb's royal guard.  He will be portrayed as the most intelligent demon who existed 7000 years ago, in 'Adipurush'.

This is also one of the rare movies in which a South Indian star is the hero, while the villain is a Hindi actor.  Prabhas' pan-Indian image, proved by 'Baahubali' and 'Saaho', has made it possible.  The 'Radhe Shyam' actor will be learning archery for the actioner.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair, this one is going to be Prabhas' 22nd film.  To be made in Hindi and Telugu, the crazy project, to be released in 2022, will eventually be dubbed into Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.  It will go on the floors in January 2021.
