After facing a lot of flak for the subpar teaser of their film, makers of 'Adipurush' have decided to withhold the release of the film in order to rework on some of the issues. Starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, 'Adipurush' is an adaptation of Ramayan helmed by Om Raut. Its teaser was released few weeks ago and it faced massive backlash for poor visual effects and bad character design.
Initially, director Om Raut tried to defend his work by saying that audience won't get an idea of the scale of the film unless they watch it in theatres but it seems like now he has decided to improve some aspects of it. The film was supposed to release in January 2023 but it will now release on June 2023.
Om Raut recently shared, "Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotions to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. Adipurush will now release on June 16th, 2023. We are committed to make a film that India will be proud of. Your support, love and blessings is what keeps us going."
