The team of 'Adipurush' on Tuesday revealed that the film's motion capture process has been begun today. The capture process is integral to the film's visual effects. This particular procedure, as claimed by the makers, is being used for the first time in Indian cinema.
Starring Prabhas as Ram, the epic 3D actioner has Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. The leveraging of cutting-edge technology, the makers believe, will pave the way for the future of filmmaking.
This is one more Prabhas' movie, after 'Baahubali', wherein the director is seeking to create an entire world of the film. The benefit of high-end visual effects combined with real-time technology will boost the visual experience of the audience.
Besides Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, 'Adipurush' is produced by director Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles.
Although the film was supposed to go on the floors this month, its shoot has been postponed. Its muhurath will be held on Feb 2.
