Ever since the initial announcement, fans were super excited for Om Raut's Ramayan adaptation 'Adipurush' but all that hype was vanished after the teaser release of the film. The teaser was heavily criticised for poor visual effects and bad character design. While initially the makers tried to defend their creation by saying that the film will turn out better on big screen but after a while, they decided to listen to the masses and postponed the release in order to work on the graphics and character appearances.
The latest buzz suggests that the long beard of Saif Ali Khan's character will be erased digitally since a large number of netizens had complained about it. A recent report in ETimes read, “As you know, the beard of Nawab of Pataudi who plays Ravana in the film, met with a lot of flak, raising questions about where he hails from. Maximum work needs to be done on Saif’s look. We hear, as things stand today, Saif’s beard will be shaved off digitally.”
Few years back, Warner Brothers Studios also tried to do something similar aa they decided to digitally shave off Henry Cavill's moustache in the film 'Justice League' and the result was horrible to say the least. Considering how difficult it was for one of the biggest studios in the world to erase a moustache, it would be exciting to see how VFX team of 'Adipurush' is going to hide an entire beard.
