Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao has once again criticized 'Adipurush'. Two days after commenting that the movie is indirectly funded by the BJP to propagate the Hindutva ideology, the TRS leader said that movies like 'Adipurush' and 'The Kashmir Files' have been made to divert the attention of the people from real issues facing the country.
"I don't usually watch propaganda movies. That's why I haven't watched 'The Kashmir Files'. The theatrical release of 'Adipurush', I am sure, will coincide with the inaugural of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya," KTR told The Print.
He added that some 15 movies are currently in the works to help the BJP's electoral prospects.
The political leader is rumouredly going to make further comments against 'Adipurush', which is directed by Om Raut, in the future too. As of now, the Prabhas-starrer is slated to hit the screens in January next year, months ahead of the inaugural of Ram Mandir.
