Om Raut's 'Adipurush' is undeniably one of the most awaited upcoming projects. Starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, the film is being developed on a massive scale and it has already surpassed a record made by Prabhas's 'Bahubali 2'. Bahubali franchise is considered the most VFX heavy film of our country but that won't be the case after the release of 'Adipurush'.

'Bahubali 2' had around 2500 visual effects shots which is highest for any Indian movie but 'Adipurush' is supposed to have 8000 VFX shots which is more than triple compared to 'Bahubali 2'. This can put into perspective how large scale and ambitious project 'Adipurush' is. Combined with the all star cast and big budget, 'Adipurush' is sure to shatter box office re ords as well.

Makers are currently waiting for Covid-19 situation to get better so that the filming can resume. The film is supposed to release in August 2022.
