Adil Hussain starrer to compete at Toronto film fest

Iram Haq's directorial "What Will People Say", starring Adil Hussain, is set to compete at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

"So proud of 'What Will People Say', directed by Iram Haq will be competing at TIFF 17 Toronto. So happy to be a part of this film. Congrats team," Adil tweeted on Friday.

"What Will People Say" tells the story of Nisha's double life - obedient to her traditional Pakistani upbringing at home, typical Norwegian teenager to her friends.

It comes crashing down when her concerned parents kidnap her and send her to Pakistan, in the personal story of family, community and culture of Haq, a Norwegian-Pakistani actress, writer and director.
