'Adhurs' screening stalled in 7 districts

Following the unsavoury comments made by Kodali Nani last night, Adhurs' shows have been stalled in 7 districts of Telangana. In Mahaboob Nagar's Nagar Kurnool and Adilabad's Nirmal, the reels have reportedly been burnt down by agitators.

Also, 8 theatres in Karim Nagar, along with 3 in Nizamabad have stopped the screening of the film. Angry activists have demanded an apology from Kodali Nani, believed to be close to NTR for the comments.

The agitators have also threatened boycott of the film in the T-region, if he is not sorry for what he has stated.

Adhurs, released on January 13, has seen calm reception in the region. However, it is now facing unexpected trouble after nearly a month.
