Adhurs
The film was planned for a December release, but is releasing only in this month. The film's postponement may have disappointed NTR's fans in the state, but its grand release on the eve of Sankranthi has inspired them to get into celebration mode. The fact that NTR did not have a single film in 2009 has only made his fans fervidly scout for Adurs since the beginning. And, with VV Vinayak directing their favourite star after a gap of 5 years (Samba, in 2004), their curiosity knows no bounds.
You have to also watch out for the Parugu actress Sheela, who has an important role in the film. Of course, as of now, it is Nayanatara who is hogging all the limelight. Planned for a massive release, the film is touted as a healthy comedy by the NTR-Brahmi duo, along with lots of romance and little action assured.
Devi Sri's music is on the chartbusters. Shambo Shiva Shambo, Pilla Na Valla Kadu and Assalam Valekhum are the biggest hits. It is to be seen if Devi's background score makes the same impact.
NTR's fans are not expecting full-blown action sequences in the film, as the makers touted it as a light-veined film with only little action from the beginning. On the other hand, fans of Nayanatara can expect their fav diva to sizzle the screen as usual.
The film has a long list of actors like Asish Vidhyarthi, Mukhul Dev and Mahesh Manjrekar doing other important roles. With many of them present, you can lots of scenes involving each and all of them with NTR who will deliver punchy one-liners, if not deathly punches.
