Director Ravi Babu has this special liking for animals. Whether or not they are his lucky charm, he likes their world. The posters of 'Nachavule' saw lover rats, lover chimpanzees, lover pets and all in romantic moods. The posters of 'Avunu' presented the elephant in an allegorical way. Whether it's a rom-com or a horror, the talented director has leveraged the animals to an appealing effect.
His film 'Adhugo', in which a piglet is the main lead, is ready for a theatrical release. Produced by D Suresh Babu, this one stars newcomers Abhishek and Nabha in key roles.
In the Pre-Teaser video just out, Ravi Babu is seen allowing himself to be insulted by the piglet as a 'chettha director'. That's what you call the ability to laugh at oneself. The animated piglet in the video is too cinematic complete with an ability to talk and throw witty remarks at its director.
The piglet had to be captured live, which challenged Ravi Babu in a big way. He had bought the cutie piglet from an Australian caretaker. The director had researched about how piglets behave.
Music is by Prashanth Vihari. The screenplay is by Satyanand. The cinematography is by N Sudhakar Reddy.
