Sylvester Stallone has stated that the statue of his 1976 film "Rocky" was the deciding factor in Adele's decision to buy his California home. According to what Stallone told The Wall Street Journal, Grammy winner Adele (16 total) bought the mansion for $58 million because she wanted to keep the statue there. Before finalising the deal, Stallone reconsidered taking the statue.
Adele has been remodelling the house since she bought it last year, while Stallone has been living in Palm Beach, Florida. Stallone praised the singer for her progress, saying that her new sound was "beautiful." There is a theatre, a cigar room with a custom bar, an eight-car garage, an infinity pool, a spa and an art studio on the site.
Stallone became a household name because of his iconic role as Rocky Balboa in the Rocky film series. Adele, an avid follower of the series, bought the estate in February 2022, with the Rocky statue included. Supposedly, Adele took out a $38 million mortgage on the home, with $227,000 in anticipated monthly payments. But between her and her lover Rich Paul's $55 million in wealth, they can easily afford it.
Adele confirmed her relationship with Paul in July 2021 following her divorce from Simon Konecki. The couple shares a 10-year-old son named Angelo.
