Adavadi
Director Shivaraj (who has changed his name to Bharath Hanna) and Sathyaraj are back together for Adavadi, after a successful showing in Adithadi.
The movie is produced by G Saravanan and Sekar and has music by Deva and cinematography by Judo Ashwin.
According to the director, "Adavadi is inspired by a Kannada movie, which had story by Upendra. It would be an entertainer with Sathyaraj in the role of a director. Just like in Adithadi, Adavadi too would be a movie that would bring out Sathyaraj's acting skills to the fore."
Bharath Hanna is keen to deliver a hit in Adavadi, as his previous film Girivalam had an average outing at the box office.
Sathyaraj plays Bharath, an arrogant film director and 'Sundara Travels' Radha plays an actress. They encounter each other and Radha falls in love with Sathyaraj.
"The movie has suspense and thrills. It deals in detail the situation prevailing in the industry. All the characters in the film are fictional and we are not inspired by anybody," clarifies Bharath Hanna.
There are reports suggesting that the movie has some scenes that will resemble the Thangar Bachan-Kushboo controversy. But the production unit is tight-lipped about it.
This film has six songs. "All the songs have come out well," he adds.
Sathyaraj's characterisation has plenty of fun and frolic attached to it.
Radha says, "After Sundara Travels, I had no offers. When my career was uncertain, Bharath Hanna gave me this plump offer. I hope that I have lived up to his expectations," she adds.
Adavadi is ready to hit the screens this December.
