The film industry from time to time gets jolted by scandals and the latest one to affect it the most is the drug abuse cases that have serious repercussions. Bollywood is already reeling in the drug related issues with the late Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty arrested and let out on bail.

Down South the Kannada film industry is also facing the drug issue and two actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjannaa Galrani are in jail and their bail applications have been rejected. Meanwhile Adam Pasha the first transgender contestant in 'Bigg Boss 6' Kannada has been arrested under Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.

The cops nabbed Pasha after television actress Anikha D confessed about supplying MDMA in crystal form to her for the past two years. The financial statements of both the parties too matched and hence the arrest has been made.
