Actress Yashika Aannand of 'Irukku Araiyil Murattu Kuthu' and 'Bigg Boss 2' fame met with an unfortunate accident at midnight July 25th this year. She driving her car with her friends from Pondicherry to Chennai when she lost control suddenly and crashed. Her close friend Valisetty Phavani died on the spot.

The 23 year old actress suffered multiple fractures in her arm, leg and hip and was being treated at a private hospital for several weeks before getting discharged. She has been updating from her home and so far had to be fed by her mom and relieve herself through equipment.

Actor Ashok has given the good news that the young actress is now recovering well. Yashika is seen standing on her feet for the first time in two months and fans are encouraging her to fight harder. Meanwhile, those who have seen her performance in her upcoming movie 'Kadamaiyai Sei' costarring S.J. Suryah are showering praises on her.
