Yashika Aanand's statement to police on how car accident occured that killed her close friend

In the wee hours of Sunday morning popular actress, Yashika Aannand was seriously injured when her Tata Harrier car rammed into a parapet wall near Mahabalipuram. Her close friend Vallisetty Bhavani died on the spot while her two male friends Syed and Ameer were admitted to a private hospital close by.

After it was ascertained that Yashika's hip bone and her right leg bone were fractured and she was later shifted to the Apollo Hospital for intensive care. It has been revealed that the former 'Bigg Boss' contestant is in a conscious state and the police have recorded her statement.

According to the statement, Yashika was the one who drove the car and she was overspeeding and lost control and did could not react in time and swerved the car to the left when it rammed into the road median. Bhavani who was not wearing a seatbelt was thrown out of the car due to the impact and her head hit the concrete and lost her life instantly.

It is said that contrary to media reports Yashika was not under the influence of alcohol. The police have registered three cases including causing death due to negligence and overspeeding. The driving licence of the 23-year-old actress has also been confiscated.
