Veteran actress turned politician Vijayshanti was the first among South Indian filmstars to be known as the Lady Superstar after her action movies in late eighties and nineties did phenomenal business all over the country. After thirteen years she has donned the greasepaint for 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' which is releasing on 11th January.
Vijayshanti at a press interaction for the promotions for 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' has stated that she decided not to have children because of her dedication to serving the people and had informed her husband about it who also agreed. She has further shared that it was former Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalitha who was her inspiration as even she did not have children and dedicated herself to the people of her state.
On acting in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' she said that in her heyday there never used to be a caravan and she had to change her dress in cars but nowadays the life of a heroine is more luxurious. The much-awaited film has Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandana as the lead pair and is expected to take a gigantic opening at the worldwide box office for the Sankranti holidays.
