Jacqueline made her debut in 'Kana Kaanun Kalangal' and later gained popularity through hosting 'Kalakka Povathu Yaaru' and also impressed in the feature film 'Kolamavu Kokila' as Nayanthara's sister. She is currently playing the heroine in the mega serial 'Thenmozhi'.

Jacqueline Fernandez has shared the shocking behaviour of her neighbour who threatened to enter her house and beat her but said that he spared her because she is a Christian girl. Jacqueline apparently was feeding street dogs outside her house gate due to the coronavirus lockdown and had kept some food outside the neighbour's gate which angered him.

The dogs in Jacqueline's house too started barking seeing the street dogs that had further angered her neighbour. Even after the young actress apologized for it her neighbour had threatened her and she had questioned why he had to pull her religion for this.
