I had revealed the matter in an interview earlier. I drink beer. Most of the youngsters also have the habit of drinking beer. No one is harmed with this habit and it is a personal choice,”

After the actress openly spoke about her drinking habit, she has been facing cyber attacks and trolls. Responding to the trolls, Veena said, “People are making fun of me with trolls by misinterpreting my statements. They should review their act whether it is right or wrong."

The 'Kadam Katha' heroine also added that she would definitely accept good glamorous roles and that she is open to experimenting with different kinds of characters in cinema. "There are no restrictions on acting. If I get a good glamorous role, I am ready to do it. I am not adamant about doing particular roles only. I prefer only good script. I believe that an artist must have an open mind. I am ready to do anything for a good character in a good script,” revealed the actress.
