Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and her mother Chaya have been regularly involved in several social activities and we already reported on June 5th when they both personally distributed food and drink to 1600 migrant labourers leaving for their home states. Today once again the mother-daughter duo were at it at the Chennai Central Railway station.

Varu and Chaya along with members of their Save Shakti Foundation distributed 3 Chapatis, water bottles, and snickers chocolates to the 1600 migrant laborers who were leaving for West Bengal. It is truly admirable that Varu prefers to brave the coronavirus and with her sexagenarian.mother and work in the field to help people rather than stay at home and share opinions on social media according to netizens.

Varu's upcoming films are 'Danny', 'Kanni Raasi', 'Ranam', 'Kaatteri', 'Pamban', 'Chasing', 'Krack' and 'Naandhi'.
