The outspoken Vanitha Vijayakumar has earned a huge fan following after her bold personality came through in a positive way during the 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan and her subsequent media appearances. She gave a sweet surprise to her fans announcing her wedding to filmmaker Peter Paul to be held at a private ceremony on June 27th. Vanitha on a live Instagram interaction got emotional regarding the wedding date stating that she chose it because it was also the wedding anniversary of her parents' actors Vijayakumar and Manjula. It may be recalled that Manjula passed away in 2013.

Vanitha also shared that Peter Paul who initially was a friend became very close to her children and when he proposed suddenly it was the girls who insisted she say yes and they convinced her by saying that they didn't want her to be alone after they get married and go off. There were a lot of tearful moments during the video chat from Vanitha but most of them were happy.
