Vanitha Vijayakumar hit the headlines on June 27th 2020, when she wed Peter Paul, which was her third marriage and approved by her children. However, Peter Paul's first wife Elisabeth Helen lodged a police complaint that she was not divorced and the union was illegal.

After battling the public outrage and celebrity criticisms, Vanitha tried her best to settle down with the filmmaker but his alcoholism took a toll on his health and subsequently the relationship too.

Later in November Vanitha confirmed that she has split with Paul and asserted that she was not going to patch up with him at all. Nothing has been heard about Peter Paul after that and Vanithakka as she is fondly called by her industry colleagues has been busy with her television shows, movies and YouTube channel.

Now almost a year later Vanitha has put up a clarification post about her personal life once again writing on Twitter "Just to let you guys know...am very much single and available.... staying that way...don't spread any rumours nor believe them".

Though its not clear in which medium the speculation on the actress's personal life was reported she has responded to a comment writing "My life is nobody's problem.. why is this even news or gossip.. there is so much to worry in this world today and your own lives. stop worrying about me people..I'm grown up enough to take care of my life..thanks to those who get it".

Vanitha is currently participating as a contestant in the 'Bigg Boss Jodigal' dance reality show which unites celebrities from all the four seasons of 'Bigg Boss' hosted by Kamal Haasan.
