Remember Vijay Kumar, who was seen as Bhumika Chawla's father in Pawan Kalyan's 'Kushi'? In recent years, he was seen in 'Nenu Sailaja', 'Sarrainodu' and 'Janatha Garage', among others. The veteran actor is in the news for complaining to the police for the second time this year against his daughter, actress Vanitha.

Earlier this year, Vanitha had hired on rent a property owned by her father in Chennai's Perumbur. She used the property to shoot a film. Even after the shoot was over, she refused to vacate the property and started allegedly laying illegal claims to the same. Left with no solution, Vijay Kumar approached the police with a complaint. Allegedly, the father-daughter duo hasn't had a healthy relationship for some years now.

After the police got her to vacate the house in September, Vanitha moved the Supreme Court for interference. The apex court reportedly gave a ruling in her favour. Post this, Vanitha once again started living in the house.

Once again, Vijay Kumar went to the police with a complaint. Following this, the police once again went to her house and proceeded to arrest her. She is in police custody in an unknown location.
